High Resolution Unambiguous Ranging Based on W-band Photonic RF-Arbitrary Waveform Generation

Abstract

We demonstrate high resolution W-band ranging based on photonic radio-frequency arbitrary waveform generation. Arbitrarily long unambiguous detection of multiple simultaneous targets is successfully executed using a photonic-assisted time-aperture expansion technique.
