10 GHz Bound Soliton Mode-locking in an Environmentally Stable FM Mode-locked Er-doped Fiber Soliton Laser

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate an environmentally stable 10 GHz FM mode-locked Er-doped fiber soliton laser that can produce stable bound solitons even when there is no equivalent fast saturable absorption mechanism inside the cavity.
