Radio-Frequency Arbitrary Waveform Generation with a Programmable SiN Spectral Shaper

Abstract

We demonstrate programmable electrical waveform generation around 10 GHz frequency using a SiN microring spectral shaper at both polarizations. Shaping is controlled by ring resonances that may be thermally tuned using micro-heaters in ~1 ms.
