First Demonstration of Four-Mode Phase-Sensitive Multicasting of Optical Channel

Abstract

We demonstrate the first low-noise frequency multicasting to 13 equalized channel copies via four-mode phase-sensitive process in a dual-pump shock-wave parametric mixer. Multicasting BER performance was measured with 2.8 dB advantage over classical EDFA.
