Abstract

We demonstrate 18-attosecond timing jitter [10 kHz – 94 MHz] pulse trains from 188-MHz mode-locked Yb-fiber lasers. This is the lowest timing jitter from free-running fiber lasers, comparable to the performance of lowest-jitter Ti:sapphire lasers.
