All-optical clock recovery for 40 Gb/s NRZ-QPSK signals using an amplified feedback DFB laser

Abstract

All-optical clock recovery for 40 Gb/s NRZ-QPSK signals is demonstrated experimentally using an amplified feedback DFB laser. Low timing jitter (<370 fs) optical clock is obtained with low injection power (<6 dBm).
