Amplification of ultrashort optical pulses in a two-pump fiber optical parametric chirped pulse amplifier

Abstract

Numerical simulations show that FOPCPA is able to amplify 50fs pulses and that saturation regime allows reducing pulse duration down to 15 fs. Preliminaries experimental results confirm that a flat and broad gain bandwidth is obtained.
