High-energy noise-like pulses generated by a dispersion-mapped Yb-doped fiber laser

Abstract

Noise-like pulses (NLP) up to 45 nJ are generated in a dispersion-mapped Yb-doped fiber laser. A spatial spectral filter is used to control temporal and spectral characteristics of generated NLP.
