Femtosecond laser direct writing of 3D high-aspect-ratio nanofluidic channels in glass: a new platform for DNA analysis

Abstract

We report on controllable production of 3D high-aspect-ratio (length to width ratio > 1,000) nanochannel with a width of ~40 nm in glass by femtosecond laser direct writing, and demonstrate its applicability for DNA analysis.
