Pulsed Fiber Laser with Cross-Modulation of Laser Cavities

Abstract

A novel principle of pulsed lasers is demonstrated. All-fiber low-jitter pulsed Yb-doped fiber lasers emitting pulses of 60-125 ns duration with pulse energy up to 0.55 mJ and peak power up to 3 kW are realized.
