Efficient energy transfer between photonic bandgaps

Abstract

It is reported efficient energy transfer between two different photonic bandgaps of hybrid photonic crystal fibers. We experimentally observed a resonant radiation at 493 nm, which peaks at 5.6 dB above intensity of initial pulse.
