MHz spaced optical frequency comb based on an Yb-fiber-ring laser

Abstract

We demonstrate an optical frequency comb based on a 490 MHz femtosecond Yb:fiber laser. The broadened spectrum covers 500 - 1500 nm and the frequency off-set was found to be > 30 dB.
