Quasi-Passive Reconfigurable Optical Node: First Experimental Demonstration

Not Accessible

Abstract

We propose a Quasi-Passive Reconfigurable (QPAR) node for optical access networks. QPARs provide flexible power/wavelength distribution, and improve networks’ energy efficiency. An experimental QPAR is constructed and characterized to demonstrate these functions.
