Simulation and Experiment for Verifying Intensity Modulation Scheme in Brillouin Optical Correlation Domain Reflectometry

Abstract

Intensity modulation scheme in Brillouin optical correlation domain reflectometry is verified both by simulation and experiment. The simulation results are in good agreement with the experiments. The optimized waveform for the modulation is clarified to be effective.
