Vector Soliton Control by Saturable Absorbers with Complex Recovery

Abstract

Saturable absorbers exhibiting complex recovery are shown to affect strongly the dynamics of vector soliton interaction. The study demonstrates that soliton bunch can be compressed by attractive forces generated by a saturable absorber.
