Coherent dual-comb spectroscopy with frequency combs stabilized by free-running CW lasers

Abstract

We demonstrated coherent dual-comb spectroscopy with two Yb-fiber lasers phase-locked to each other by using free-running CW lasers. The relative timing/phase jitter was strongly suppressed, resulting in comb resolution after coherent averaging.
