Abstract

Chromophore-functionalized polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS) was blended with a polycarbonate host and spin cast into films with < 1.5 dB/cm loss at 1550 nm. The films were poled to a stable d33 of 35 pm/V.
