Ultra-Compact Coupled-Resonator Device for Four-Wave Mixing Applications

Abstract

A coupled-resonator device consisting of three compact microresonators is proposed and demonstrated for efficient FWM in silicon. The possibility of tuning of signal and idler wavelengths in this device enables novel reconfigurable nonlinear experiments.
