Stimulated Raman Scattering in Chirped-Pulse Amplification: the Role of Vibrational Dephasing

Abstract

We numerically study the properties of Raman Stokes pulses generated in fiber chirped-pulse amplification. Pulses are compressible for Raman dephasing times as short as a hundredth of the pump pulse duration.
