Plasmonic Complementary Fractal Photoconductive Emitter

Abstract

A new class of photoconductive THz emitters based on a complementary Sierpinski fractal is presented. The self-similarity of plasmonic current present on the antenna surface results in superior performance compared to conventional bow-tie emitters.
