Generation of Four Wave Mixing in Graphene and Carbon Nanotubes Optically Deposited onto Fiber Ferrules

Abstract

We compared the third-order nonlinearity of graphene and carbon nanotubes optically deposited onto fiber ferrules using four-wave mixing. Significant idler waves are generated in both samples, and estimated nonlinearities are similarly high.
