Abstract

Large aperture (LA) nonlinear devices, which made by using a ramping electric field with various rates (REFVR) and surface activated bonding (SAB) methods, have been developed for high power short pulse lasers to avoid their material damages. The quasi-phase matched (QPM) Mg-doped LiNbO3 and Quartz offer the functional nonlinear wavelength conversions from extreme ultraviolet until mid-infrared-to-terahertz wave region.
