Electrically tunable dynamic phase modulation enhanced second harmonic generation of dielectric metasurfaces

Abstract

Taking advantage of the dynamic phase modulation arisen from the interaction of dc electrical and optical field, we create super-quadratic field dependent second harmonic generation (SHG) with ultra-high ON/OFF ratio of 15000 on a dielectric metasurface.
