Ultrafast analysis and control of sub-nanosecond intraband coherence in single CdSe/ZnSe quantum dots

Abstract

Excited trion triplet states are studied with two-color femtosecond resolution monitoring induced absorption into charged biexciton levels. Quantum beats of single-electron wave packets with sub-nanosecond dephasing are found and controlled by pump and probe polarizations.
