Nonlinear Imaging of Topological Edge States in Dielectric Metasurfaces

Abstract

We fabricate and characterize nonlinear metasurfaces supporting topological edge states at the nanoscale. By employing spectral-selective excitation, we visualize both bulk photonic modes and propagating topological edge states via third-harmonic imaging.
