Abstract

A SWG-based cladding-modulated Bragg reflector implemented in bulk CMOS enables a lower propagation loss (< 30 dB/cm), a higher extinction ratio (24.5 dB) and a less-sensitive temperature coefficient (29.4 pm/°C) as compared to strip-based counterpart.
