Impact of differential group-velocity dispersion on intermodal four-wave mixing in few-mode fibers

Abstract

We investigate the impact of differential group-velocity dispersion between modes of a few-mode fiber on intermodal four-wave mixing. We find that differences of the chromatic dispersion lead to a reduced bandwidth with full phase-matching.
