Abstract

We report a 4.1 mJ, 100 Hz, ~1.7 ps DUV laser at 257.5 nm from a frequency-quadrupled Yb-YAG chirped-pulse amplifier. An infrared-to-DUV conversion efficiency of ~20% is achieved with a good beam quality.
