Multiplexed Signal Recovery for Ultrafast Waveform Measurement

Abstract

We demonstrate a combined optical and electronic system for measuring optical waveforms at bandwidths up to 2 THz. The technique uses sonogram decomposition of the waveform to reduce the optical bandwidth to levels measurable with current electronics.
