Abstract

We report on the fabrication of high-Q diamond photonic crystal (PC) slab cavities near the optical transition of the NV center. This process, which allows the production of 2D PC slabs directly on bulk diamond, significantly extends the toolbox for controlling light-matter interactions in diamond.
