Abstract

We observed enhancement of optical bistability and hysteresis in graphene-on-Si3N4 ring resonators. Stronger thermo-optic effect results in twofold resonance shift rate and 17-fold increase in the effective nonlinear refractive index compared to bare Si3N4 resonator.
