Ultrafast Diode Laser with Self-Adapting Pulse-Shaping in Passive, Active and Hybrid Mode-Locking Operation

Abstract

We present an ultrafast edge-emitting diode laser system, which is able to self-adapt the resonator internal phase and amplitude. The best operating conditions for passive, active and hybrid mode-locking are analyzed.
