Mechanically Exfoliated MoS2 onto D-shaped Optical Fiber for Erbium Doped Fiber Laser Mode-locking

Abstract

For the first time, we report an ultrashort pulse generation of 266 fs obtained by mode-locked Erbium doped fiber laser using a mechanically exfoliated MoS2 deposited onto the side polished surface of D-shaped optical fiber.
