Quantum Communication with Temporal Modes of Pulsed Light

Abstract

We present a framework for quantum communication using temporal modes of quantum light with orthogonal spectral-temporal shapes. These span a high-dimensional Hilbert space and are ideally suited for efficient quantum information coding for network applications.
