Solving Integral Equations with Optical Metamaterial-Waveguide Networks

Abstract

We propose a wave-based technique to solve integral equations of general format. We numerically show that designer metamaterial kernels combined with proper waveguide feedback networks operate as compact equation solvers, demonstrated via solving Fredholm equations.
