Plasmonic metamaterial device for optomechanical amplification and dampening

Abstract

We designed, fabricated and characterized an optomechanical device based on plasmonic metamaterial absorber, which demonstrated optical manipulation of mechanical resonances. This device is able to achieve coherent mechanical oscillation and compatible with broadband light source.
