Design of Single-Shot Multimode Fiber Based Endoscope

Abstract

We proposed and demonstrated theoretically a single-shot multimode fiber (MMF) endoscope achieved by using a spatial-light modulator to generate a controlled illumination and utilizing transmission matrix to retrieve original image. This leads to a truly scanning-free and time-saving MMF endoscope.
