Abstract

We numerically demonstrate that through its resistive and inductive (plasmonic) responses, graphene enables strong (~1 GHz/nm) optomechanical coupling in the THz/infrared spectrum. Distinct dispersive and dissipative coupling regimes emerge as functions of graphene’s intrinsic properties.
