Principle and Demonstration of Quantum Key Distribution without Monitoring Disturbance

Abstract

In contrast to conventional QKD schemes, phase encoding on a coherent pulse train enables distribution of secure key without relying on the information-disturbance trade-off. Here we discuss its basic principle and an experimental demonstration.
