Dynamic Control of Fundamental Physical Interactions in Strongly-Correlated Oxides

Abstract

In this invited talk I will review the results of several recent studies wherein electronic structure and the metal-insulator transition temperature in the strongly-correlated oxide VO2 is controlled via external stimuli, such as strain, temperature and ultrafast THz electric fields.
