Quantum information using a single excitation: Steering photonic path entangled states

Abstract

We use single-photon path-entangled states combined with a novel displacement-based detection scheme to demonstrate loop-hole-free quantum steering, opening the way towards implementations of device-independent quantum protocols within the paradigm of path entanglement.
