Optical Homodyne with Optical Bandwidth

Abstract

Broadband squeezing is easily produced, yet practically impossible to utilize, since the detection bandwidth of standard homodyne is severely limited. We exploit parametric amplification to demonstrate direct optical homodyne with effectively unlimited bandwidth.
