Multi-Octave Supercontinuum Generation Driven by Few-Cycle Mid-IR Pulses in YAG, ZnSe And Sapphire

Abstract

We present results of the first mid-IR, sub 2-cycle driven multi-octave supercontinuum experiments in bulk ZnSe, YAG and Sapphire. We extend the applicability of the results to longer driver wavelength with a theory-based estimation tool.
