Dynamic Adaptation of Bandwidth Granularity for Multipath Routing in Elastic Optical OFDM Networks

Abstract

We introduce the concept of bandwidth granularity dynamic adaptation for spectrum allocation using multipath provisioning in elastic optical OFDM networks. Results show that dynamic bandwidth adaptation significantly improves the performance in terms of throughput and blocking probability.
