Generation of Broadband Chaos Signal by Self-injection Monolithic Integrated Mode-beating Amplified Feedback Laser

Abstract

A broadband chaos generation scheme using monolithic integrated mode-beating amplified feedback laser under self-injection is presented. A robust chaotic spectrum that extends over 50 GHz with a flatness of ±5 dB is experimentally achieved.
