Abstract
We study the skyrmion structure in Cu2OSeO3 using resonant x-ray spectroscopy. The skyrmion structure shows long range fluctuations of ferrimagnetic ordering, and above-gap optical excitation reduces the magnetic ordering on a 40 picosecond timescale.
