Electrochemical potential control of charge state and fluorescence of nitrogen vacancy centers in nanodiamonds

Abstract

We use spectro-electrochemical microscopy to demonstrate that the equilibrium charge state and fluorescence of nitrogen vacancy centers in nanodiamonds can be dynamically controlled by externally applied potentials.
