Atom–Photon Coupling from Nitrogen-vacancy Centers Embedded in Tellurite Microspheres

Abstract

A technique was developed for creating tellurite microspheres with embedded nanodiamonds. The whispering gallery mode modulated fluorescence of the nitrogen vacancy centers in the nanodiamonds was observed with resonance Q over 10,000.
