Second-harmonic Generation in a Phase-Matched Nonlinear 2D Crystal

Abstract

We studied the phase-matched SHG from thin crystals of 3R-MoS2. Due to the noncentrosymmetric nature of the crystal, the typically observed intensity oscillation in 2H-MoS2 is replaced with constructive interference of the second harmonic light.
