Nonreciprocal Optical Interaction of Dissimilar Particles

Abstract

We show that optical interaction of dissimilar particles results in apparent violation of actio et reactio principle. Interaction asymmetry in an optically-bound dimer can lead to unexpected movement transversal to the direction of light propagation.
